Solar water heater

Not only the power, but also the warm water comes from the sun. On the south side of the house a large solar collector is installed which is connected to a solar water heater (of approximately 90 litres) in the house. The water in this water heater is heated by the collector. Before the warm water reaches the taps, it goes through an extra water heater.

When the power of the sun is not strong enough (darker days), the water is heated up to 60 degrees. This to prevent legionella.
