Clay / loam
In the project we have amongst other reasons chosen for loam because it has many positive qualities. At the same time loam is a fantastic natural product (for loam consists of clay, sand and straw). As loam contains no chemical substances it is very environmentally friendly and is also good for anyone's health.

Loam and your health
Almost everyone owns a computer, television or a stereo or other equipment in his house. This equipment radiates negative energies that are bad for your health. Loam intercepts this unhealthy radiation and filters this, resulting in having a lesser effect on you. A loam wall would fit in any office and any computer room.

Loam and dust particles: even so loam ensures that dust particles no longer float along in your house, because loam neutralises any form of static electricity. Instead the dust particles fall on the ground. The dust particles that float around, are loaded with positive electricity and are made electrically neutral and fall on the ground in anticipation with the meeting with brush and can. For people that are highly sensitive for or have an allergy for dust and/or for people that want to live healthy, loam is a must!

Loam and high sensitivity: there are plenty of people on this planet that are highly sensitive for energies of other people, and also extra sensitive for radiation from inside and outside the house. For these people, loam is a wonderful product! Loam also intercepts these energies and filters them, in that way they don't remain in the house, but are filtered outside (purified by the loam).

Loam and a good night rest: by the positive qualities of loam, one sleeps better and feels fitter after a busy day. (we ourselves have intensely experienced this)

The walls at the house of Natuurlijk Leven are for these (and other) reasons plastered with loam, even the floor is made of loam!

Loam can be used in many different techniques and in many different colours. You can even use loam for a healthy facial mask during the plastering!

Loam can restore the harmony in yourself and your surrounding. Loam can even be used outwardly to recover small wounds. Our advice is never to wear gloves when working with loam, but to feel and experience the loam in your hands.

Stamp loam floor
At Natuurlijk Leven, not only the walls are plastered with loam, but also the floor. Loam is from nature particularly fragile but with a special technique it can be treated so that the floor gets a hard top layer. The stamp loam floor consists of several loam types and loam layers that in total result in a layer of 10 cm. This layer of pure nature is directly placed on the thick layer of insulation shells. The layer of stamp loam is completed with polishing loam, which results in the effect of a natural stone with the size of a complete floor.

Why stamp loam?
On a stamp loam floor you have direct contact with the earth, you feel 'natured' on the floor. All earth rays remain in tact, because no steel maze mat is used in the floor layer.

Loam is 'damp-open' and leaves as much as a hundred times more air through than concrete. The floor keeps breathing and is therefore not air and watertight. Yet the floor is warm and dry because of the thick layer of shells.

Because of above reasons we were convinced to choose a stamp loam floor. We have experienced that the floor is not very warm, but genuinely feels like a tile floor (quite cold). Around the heater however, the floor is agreeably warm. The warmth of the floor is dependant on the surroundings. In the environment of radiation warmth, the floor adapts the warmth and slowly releases it again.

These are only a few examples of loam. For anyone who would like to know more about this beautiful gift of mother earth can contact Natuurlijk Leven, we can redirect you to specialised companies that work with loam.
