Improved septic tank
To clear our waste water, we use an improved septic tank (IBA) from Biorock. This particular IBA doesn't need electricity for the clearance of waste water, but it works through a bacterial culture. The Biorock is different from traditional IBA's because no electrical or mechanical components are needed for the biological purification. The system is ventilated by creating a natural draught by placing one pipe higher than the other.
